“I have yet to get these outside due to the current storms (Feb 2022) however I did connect them up indoors at first I just connected the main (amp) speaker which to be honest I felt a little disappointed and the echo show 5 sounded better however when I connected the passive speaker too I soon had a smile on my face. You can turn these up full volume and have no distortion. They are not too loud but enough for my needs just chilling , Halloween and also garden parties had zero issues with the connection as for longevity you get an extra year warranty via AUDIO VOLT so another bonus . :) Are they worth the money ? Well they are waterproof garden speakers with a built in amp so if that's what you want to pay for that is what you get but you need both main and passive for the best results”
