“Bought family tickets a couple of days before our visit which saved us time on queuing for tickets (you still have to go through security before you enter however. This is the longest queue but moves quite quickly. I popped into the visitor centre while hubby and kids were in the queue and picked up a couple of activity packs -they're free! - and this helped keep the children busy while we waited). After a short wander around and some Raven spotting we headed for the Crown Jewels with another long queue but again it kept moving, icecream provided the distraction this time! It was worth the wait, informative displays on the way to the jewels, a conveyor belt section past most of the jewels makes sure everyone gets a good view. Raised viewing gallery means you can loop back for more info and go past them again. The highlight of our visit was the Conquest! Event. More suited for children than the Beefeater tour this got us marching to the beat of a drum to different parts of the castle where an historic event was acted out with key characters. Brilliantly done, totally engaging for all ages. They run 3 times a day from the area near the cafe / white tower entrance. If you have children plan this into your visit. Plenty of time then to have sandwiches and explore the rest of the tower. We didn't do everything as little legs were tiring but even so we had a great day.”

“We had a day of unexpected freedom and choose to come visit The Tower of London. What an experience! We met Billy the Beefeater our tour operator. He was awesome and hilarious. An amazing place to visit and well worth the money.”

“Great day out for any age group you can stay for hours”

“Bought tickets to use on a Bank Holiday weekend, which meant we avoided standing in the huge queue at the ticket office, these are really easy and convenient (as well as saving money). Great day out, with loads to do especially with special Bank Holiday event on. Not sure I would have felt the same without this, as we spent a large portion of our time at the special event. We were there for almost 7 hours so got our monies worth from the tickets!”
