“I booked tickets for myself and 2 friends. One was visiting from Ireland and had never been to London before so we were all really excited to do some sightseeing! The view from the top is incredible, it literally takes your breath away! You can walk around and pretty much see the whole of London. We went at around 6.30pm on a Saturday, and although there was a fair amount of people up there it didn't feel too crowded. Would definitely recommend going in the evening to see the sunset. We spent over an hour taking photos and checking out the view.”

“I was lucky enough to have Afternoon Tea at the Shard aswell as tickets to the top. It's a shame the tea doesn't come with the chance to go higher as it is quite pricey, so I'm glad I got to do both. We wanted to see the view in the day at at night, so chose 7pm entrance. Staff let us go up early as they advised it would be really busy if we waited until 7pm to go up. We didn't take advantage of the drinks and snacks whilst up there so can't comment on that. There are telescopes you can look through for free with a guide to identify buildings. People tend to take their photos then move on so not an issue getting the shot you want. I'm glad I've been, but don't think I'd pay £20+ to go again.”

“Unfortunately it was a cloudy day when we booked to go up The Shard. We hoped it would get brighter but it didn't. As the weather was do bad, we were given tickets to return within a year, which was very good indeed. Once up the Shard, you can see what the view would have been like on a sunny day/night-time/through history. It was very good, such a shame about the weather on the day, but we will be returning.”
