“Went for fireworks at Halloween as I've been in previous years but was disappointed that there weren't any until bonfire night. Despite that we had lots of fun on the big rides and enjoyed the decorations and the general atmosphere. For those who have never been, Alton Towers has a huge number of rides so you need to pick your battles as queues can be anywhere between 20mins to 2hrs for Nemesis, 13, Air and Oblivion. As it was the last few weeks of the season, the park was open til 9pm so we got to do some rides in the dark which was a new dimension of fun!”

“We brought our tickets, our friends had theirs!! Got up mega early like 6am, drop my son at school by 7:30am. Picked our friends up had a breakfast and headed to Alton towers, despite the traffic we got there fairly early! Had a whole day in the park got very very wet on the water rides, won a few toys on the games ect. Food was good value even the ducks wanted some haha. Went home at closing time and finished the day off with a meal at the pub. Cant wait to go again.”

“We used the 241 tickets we had from kellogs for 4 adults then bought childs tickets online for around £27! So really cheap day out for the family! Also quiet in the park for a bank holidat saturday...max we had to wait for any ride was 20 mins if that.. defo recommend.”

“I brought tickets for myself and husband. Currently very short queues for rides which was great for me as I had to fit them in between feeding my daughter. Only issue was buying via attractiontix I had to queue to exchange out voucher for tickets and then again to get in the park”

“it was great as the park was quiet and the children got to go on lots of rides with minimal waiting. the level of service in various places was less than standard and dampened the two days . on arrival the express car park attendant was acting like he did not want to be there and was quite unhelpful - the man on the ticket desk was not enraging into my questions at all - hot dog hut near air , was always understaffed and they could not cope with a small queue . the burger kitchen was a joke as far as service goes , there were plenty of people there but did not seem to know what was going on , people standing at the tills but could not serve us - it was very quiet and not what I would expect from a fast food outlet ! I feel disappointed to have spent £177 on tickets and two days of express parking to have a mediocre experience . I think a focus needs to go on service as the park is vey quiet and they should look after the guests they have coming in”

“good day but i think that Alton towers over all is getting worse, i live local so have been there multiple times over the years and it is getting more and more expensive. not sure if it just me but £11 for a pizza is alot of money.”
