“Really lovely lights! We bought 3 of these to put above our island in our new home. The glass has a great thickness and heft to them, much more so than the glass pendants we got from Pooky as a comparison, and which also had a much larger pendant fixing, far less delicate than these.
Whilst we bought the conical shade, we decided to opt for the dome shape instead and Artifact Lighting were really accommodating in sorting out an exchange which came quickly, and just in time for me to put them up on the weekend.
We’d definitely buy from here again. We’d love to see some more spherical glass designs. Pumpkin style prismatic shades etc. if that might be on the cards in the future.

“The overall effect of the shade is as it looks in the online photos although on close up inspection the quality of the moulding is not as sharp as a similar holophane type shade that we had previously purchased from Mullan lighting albeit that one was more expensive so I suppose you get what you pay for. Nonetheless it still looks nice in the room.
My main irritation was that I clicked on the neater looking nickel cap ceiling fitting assuming it would be suitable for accommodating the supply and fitting wires sand supplied connectors only to find it is for use with industrial surface mounted conduit boxes, without clicking on the description of the item that fact is not obvious. Nevertheless, my mistake I should’ve ordered a nickel cup fitting instead. I contacted customer support (shame there’s no phone contact) and was told unless the full description of the item was incorrect I would have to send it back recorded delivery at my cost and a refund for the fitting only would be given and re order the correct item £20. I decided not to waste any more time and money and bought a similar fitting from my local electrical wholesaler 70% cheaper. I suggest making it clearer on the website those cap fittings need a conduit box. It’s a shame but after that unhelpful experience I won’t be buying from Artifact again, shame”
