“I'm afraid to say that the Giant size is - to be absolutely honest - a complete waste of money. It takes so much food, that after a few days of rain, all the food at the bottom (up to the send pair of ports) had got wet and clogged up the ports; that is a lot of bird feed to have to throw away! The other disadvantage of the Giant one (I am NOT talking about the two smaller sizes!) is the the plastic rod is not strong enough to push through 3 pairs of ports. Trying to line it up to put the ports around the ring pull rod at the top pair of ports appears impossible too, however much we have tried to do so, thus making the feeder even more open to rain.”

“This feeder , unlike many others, can be totally dismantled quickly to clean out seeds at the base that may start sprouting or go mouldy, harming birds, so birds are always feeding safely. The feeding base catches dropped seeds. saving waste, preventing them growing, and small birds liked like to perch on the saucer, as they have a job hanging onto the portals. Easy to fit and remove for washing.”
