“I didn’t realise until they were received that these are left handed or right handed. As happens I bought 2 right handed ones.I had hoped to install them on a 45degree gable but couldn’t find an easy way to make them fit. Maybe you can devise a fitting which would enable the box to fit on a sloping gable rather than just horizontal. Also thought you can add a little leaflet which explains the mounting method and how to fit them and which direction the box could face or is preferred by House Martin’s and how many nesting seasons you might have to wait before they find them.maybe I hadn’t spotted them but it would be good to have had the dimensions of the backing plate so I could have accurately found a good location.”

The entrance on our single nest bowls are right hand facing, whilst the doubles have both a left and right facing entrance. “Unfortunately the nest box arrived broken so I had to ask for a refund, not the companies fault although the packaging could of been better but it was clearly the delivery company that had been very careless with the box. Such a shame because it was to replace a nest that had fallen down.”
