Exactly what I needed to cater to more timid birds chased off by hordes of starlings at the hanging feeders

Bought to deter crows and magpies from eating everything. Keeps them away although so many starlings are here at the moment and they are taking over. Unfortunately the blackbirds have left but maybe they will return later in the year. Found the clips a little tricky to fit, need strong fingers, and found the clips came off easily when taking in the guard at night so as not to harm hedgehogs, but have been replacing with cable ties which seems to work well.

Bought two of these. One for each feeder cage. The small birds go onto the table but the blackbirds will not feed from it so back to putting their seed onto the paved area of my garden.
