“There were far too many full peanut kernels in the mix and very few hazelnuts and only one whole walnut. The husks from the sunflower seeds and the empty peanuts make a lot of mess. I thought it would be a good healthy mix instead of shelled nuts for the red squirrels, they loved it and the sole walnut went in the first few minutes of putting it out. I now have the compact mesh ground feeder trays so hope this will contain the residue from the shelled nuts and seeds. I may order the shelled nut mix to see if it is any better and as well like by my furry friends.”
