“The hedgehogs love it and rely on it early and late in the year when their natural food is less plentiful. Looks and smells the same as 'Spike', but a fraction of the cost when buying in bulk. Although the cats don't touch the food, larger birds do - especially magpies. I remove the left-overs as early as I can. Only criticisms are 1. the bags tend to split at the bottom sewn seam where the gusset is doubled over - perhaps the gusset could be omitted. for delivery, the paper sacks are enclosed in a plastic sack, but the paper one can leak in transport. (I now open the paper bags at the bottom rather than the top.); 2. The oil in the food tends to ooze out and was very bad during the heat of summer 2018. Make sure to keep the food as cool as possible.”
