“I purchased this as an additional handset to add to an existing system. I have been very pleased with the product. I do feel that the entire 'access control' market sector is overpriced and £150 per handset (I bought 2) this product is no exception. It is however a solid performer although I very much doubt there are many people who use the unit to its full capability of being able to open and close a number of different entry points, garage doors, switch lights on and off, communicate between handsets etc. but the facility is there if you really wanted to use it. The most disappointing aspect of these handsets is the instruction manual. They arrive with a complex manual explaining how each function works and can be programmed but nowhere in the manual is there a 'chapter one' that starts with words like 'Congratulations on the purchase of your additional handset - here is how to link and pair your handset with your existing system.' After spending a lot of time looking for the pairing instructions I finally found them online in the manual that comes with the controller box. Once this mystery had been solved, the pairing process is relatively simple but I will never get the hours of my life back spent looking for and figuring out the manual.”
