I actually really think this product is great. It's not perfect but again if you edit your round, it provides amazing insight into your game. I actually enjoy getting on the computer at the end of the round to verify what took place. The biggest area of editing comes with putting from off the green, you can keep showing that as a putt or change to a chip shot with your putter. I prefer showing as a chip so I can truly track my progress on putts per round. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a better understanding on how they are managing a round.

I was a litte skeptical, but I've been won over. I love the passive nature of the system. Unlike ALL of the other apps and such, I don't have to do much of anything at all. I check it every couple of holes to ensure accuracy, but that's about it. There's not so much engagement that it takes my focus away from my game. I like the Caddy advice feature as well. This is all before we get to the meat of the sysyem...the data. If you're serious about improving, you've got everything you need. No BS...I've gone from +18 to +14.5 in the 6 months I've been using it.

I think that it is pretty neat to have so much info at your fingertips! The PGA tour pros have many people tracking everything they are doing and it takes many people to get it right!! That’s the problem, the average golfer doesn’t have people following them around with Shot Link or Trackman behind every tee box. Even with all that Technology and many people working on gathering the data, there still is problems! So as you can see, don’t expect this system to work flawlessly. I think more testing and development is necessary for a more reliable system. Who what’s to concentrate on continually editing and updating your phone during your round of golf. You were out on the golf course to test everything that you’ve done on the driving range. Not to be a computer input specialist on an app. Maybe in the future the data will be incorporated into the golf carts that we ride or walk with on the golf course. Most carts now incorporate a GPS system in them. There’s no magic system out there that’s going to make you a better golfer! I believe practice and some lessons for a PGA teacher is still the best result! The screw in sensors are another problem. I constantly have to tighten the sensor to the grip. I finally lost one after 3 weeks on the clubs the sensors become very easy to fall off. You would notice it missing right away if you were playing a round of golf, but not if you are practicing and don’t have the app open. It’s a great idea and I hope to see refined improvements so you don’t have to focus on editing the info or searching for a sensor that has fallen off!

I've had this product along with the Link device for over a year now. Is it perfect? no, it's not, however, it does give you some great information that will help to lower your Handicap if you're willing to be patient with it like checking and possibly editing after each hole. Sometimes the weather can also keep it from working properly because it relies on the GPS system. But, what makes it worth it to keep it and continue using it is that customer service is great to work with, they are quick in responding to my emails and they try their best to make sure you're doing all the steps in order for it to work right. I know the sensors are not durable but I've learned to be more cautious when putting my clubs back in my bag which helps keep them working longer. I use to just put my club in the bag about halfway and let it fall on it's own the rest of the way hitting the sensor to hard, now I guide the club down all the way until it touches the bottom this method really has helped to keep them working longer.
