The Atman submersible aquarium internal filters have an integral water pump that fits to small canisters containing sponges. Water is drawn through the sponges, trapping debris and breaking down waste by physical & biological means. The filters are suitable for any fresh or marine aquariums they easily fix to aquariums with attached suction cups. The filters are extremly quiet and are completly submersible. “for the money its just ok, as its a little noisy, but does the job, would pay more to get a silent one going forward hope this helps”

“Very quiet filter. Ordered the smallest one I could get but the flow is too strong for a small tank the fish look like they are in a washing machine. Comes with lots of attachments for the outlet but no instructions or pictures of where they fit. Ended up letting the water bubble out of the top like a fountain to stop the churning. May be good for a larger tank but would not recommend for a 25ltr. Made in china. Would not buy another even though the price was good.”
