“Efficient service as usual; pleasant, friendly and polite staff. Change of charging policy in that customer must now apparently pay for parking fee both at drop-off and collection. This was unexpected and not advised before journey - poor communication. Will now consider using other services and will compare prices closely in future (previoiusly I didn't bother as I was very happy with Edward Lloyd's operation).”
“Whilst I cannot fault the service we received from Edward Lloyd Meet & Greet Parking, instead of feeling very happy about it, I feel disgruntled because the price they advertise is misleading. . I chose them from the APH site which gives a comparison of parking fees. I have used the company several times and was very surprised when, on collecting the car, the driver gave me the exit parking ticket to pay (£7.50) and, when I looked on my credit card statement, I saw that I had also had a further £7.50 deducted from the credit card that I paid with on the original booking on the date that the car was left with them. There is nothing on the paperwork that I received from APH to indicate that this charge would be made on top of the booking fee. I have since contacted the company to be told it was on the website but it took me a long time to find it under Special Restrictions and was not at all clear saying BOOKINGS would be required to pay the exit/entry fees for the short stay car parks. This is most ambiguous and should read THE CUSTOMER will be required....... Also I thought my booking was for a long term car park and would have considered that irrelevant. All the other Parking Companies display their fees with these charges included and I think that Edward Lloyd is being deliberately misleading. It is a good company and it would be better for them to be upfront with their charges.”
“Trying to drive and follow directions can be tricky but I managed to find the carpark; however not Level 4. I realised that there was no access to Level 4 so I worked my way back to Level 1 (not wishing to leave the carpark and risk getting into a one-way system). I called the operative and he asked me to stay where I was then kindly came to me. Apparently I had not kept to the right on my final approach.
He then helped me with my case and talked me through the need to now pay for parking as well as Meet and Greet. I was asked to pay £17.40 which should have been £7.50. He suggested I contact Customer Services (which I have done since).
On my return, my car was waiting for me and I was again advised of the changes; the need to pay to get out too!
I found both operatives very helpful and wouldn't hesitate to use Edward Lloyd Meet & Greet again.”
