“This has been our first disappointing experience with Edward Lloyd M&G. The arrival process was OK, although I was surprised to see we had to pay the £7.50 car park exit fee as when I made the booking I specifically chose this one as there was no mention of it having to be paid (others did mention this so I avoided them) - ditto for the return journey.
The return process was somewhat worse. Depsite communicating exactly when we were told to, there was quite a wait for our car to arrive. When he arrived, the driver was extrememly flustered, saying it was a really busy night and practically ran away from the car as fast as he could. It was covered with mud-splashes all over the back and then as soon as we had hit the motorway, the tyre warning light came on for a puncture! This was 100% not like this when we arrived and it was practically a brand new tyre.
Obviously we cannot prove anything but the rushed arrival, the mud splashe and the quick getaway all point to the car being driven too fast through water-filled pot-holes and points very much to the tyre damage being done by a driver from Edward Lloyd.”
