“Very poor service this was meant to be a meet and greet but turned out not to be we was told that we had to call 30 minutes before but we’re still waiting for the guys to collect the car and when we came back we called 30 minutes before getting out at the airport and we’re still waiting for our car to be brought to the car park. Wouldn’t wouldn’t recommend Edward Lloyds to anyone as the service was very poor.”
Dear Miss Bendall,
We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent experience.
Edward Lloyd meet and greet service requires customers to contact approximately 30 minutes before arrival and again upon return once luggage has been collected so that our drivers can be dispatched appropriately. We note from feedback from Edward Lloyd that there was no longer than a 15 minute wait for the vehicle to be collected and delivered on both departure and return, which we understand can be frustrating when travelling to and from the airport.
Please be assured that vehicles typically are returned within 10-15 minutes of the return call, depending on traffic and airport conditions that day. We apologise if the wait time did not reach your expectations on this occasion.
Kind regards,
The APH Team
“Amazing service. I accidentally left my purse in the car and after drop off the guys rallied around to get this back to departures for me. I am so grateful. Great communication for drop off and collection for the car. Will be using again for sure”
“A very good service. Met at the airport to drop off car and then vehiclle returned within minutes of phone call a couple of weeks later. Thank you for this meet and greet service”
“They were punctual but, other than that, not good at all. The drop off instructions were changed last minute, via an unknown telephone number, to a different location and then I had to hand my car over to some random bloke with no uniform and no ID. I was quite concerned so had to check later that they actually had my car - they did. On my return, I was called by a number that came up as an electrical company to see where I was - I was waiting for my bag. I called the main number when I left the terminal and my car came, promptly, driven by another random bloke. Both front seats had been moved, the stereo had been messed with and the light switch was set differently. Make of that what you will but I certainly would never trust my car with this lot again. Additionally, I have just discovered that they didn't pay the drop off charge when I handed them over the vehicle and I just received a fine!”
Dear Mr Davis,
I’m very sorry to hear that this experience left you feeling uneasy. Handing over your vehicle should feel straightforward and professional, so I completely understand why the last-minute location change, unfamiliar contact numbers and lack of visible ID would cause concern.
While operational adjustments can occasionally mean updated drop-off points or calls from different driver numbers, all drivers should be clearly identifiable and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. We’re sorry this did not feel reassuring for you.
In relation to the seat positions, stereo and lighting settings, we understand how concerning it can feel to collect your vehicle and notice changes inside. While vehicles do need to be moved and parked during their stay, they should always be handled with care and returned in a respectful condition. We’re sorry that this added to your dissatisfaction on this occasion.
Your comments are important and will be reviewed internally to ensure standards are being met consistently. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Kind regards,
The APH Team
