“We always use APH Meet and Greet. Sadly on this occasion we had a bad experience at drop off and collection. When we dropped off there were no drivers to take the car away. Eventually someone came and checked the car in and took the key, still no drivers though. We had to go on holiday (already late - so quite stressful) not knowing if our car was safe or if we would get a massive parking fine. On our return I called APH at 14:58 to say we were ready and confirmed we were at Gatwick South. We waited 30minutes, then I called to asked why the delay. I was told the driver was at North Terminal and would be with us in 4 minutes. The driver finally arrived at 15:38 a further 10 minutes later. It was a very stressful wait. This meant we caught all of the traffic driving home. We are putting in a complaint, and will think twice before using them again - great shame as we have used APH for years.”
“I've been using aph for years, not always meet and greet, always so far from the North Terminal.
I have always found the staff amazing even at silly o'clock in the morning, this time for some reason I had to use the south terminal. It seemed to be a different company doing the meet and greet, dropping the car off was OK, I called to say I had arrived, which was fine, when I got to my car all I got from the two guy's was a few grunts and a sign here. The car looked like it had been parked in an aviary, quite a bit of bird droppings on it.
I'll continue using aph because it's been great till now, I don't really like to complain but you did ask!”
“arrived early morning at drop off lane at LGW South to be told lots of their drivers off sick and they had run out of QR code cards to give to drivers dropping off their cars (which we need in order to collect our vehicle). 30-40 minutes waiting and a phone call to HQ to say get some people to help asap! We finally got our QR code card for us to then to walk to our flight check in (but not a great start to our weekend away..). BTW the representative chap who was on his own at the drop off lane was super apologetic and you could tell he was under stress with all drop off drivers trying to get answers from him as he was the only rep on site. On a positive collection of the vehicle was great. ILoveMeetandGreet just need to have a plan when drivers are sick and i do feel having not enough QR code cards at the drop off lane is very poor.”
“20 minute wait to be met at drop off point, had to call twice. No queuing system or name checking so people who had arrived 15 minutes after us had their cars checked in before us.
Return was much smoother, 2 minutes wait for car at collection point.”
