“Meet and Greet at Gatwick North. Staff member ready to take our car at the terminal drop off and also arrived within 10 minutes of our phonecall on return from our holiday. Friendly and courteous staff. Will use again!”
“We have had a good history of Meet & Great at Gatwick over the years, especially at the North Terminal.
However, this time was quite appalling. We rang about 10 mins ahead of arrival and explicitly told the team that we were using Airport Assist at the South Terminal and would therefore meet the driver at Bus Stop 6 by the Airport Assist kiosk. It took about 50 (yes 50) minutes and six or seven more anguished phone calls to APH for their driver to turn up at the right place. We had been there all along although the contact said their driver had reported that we weren’t there!
Fortunately on our return their response was exemplary. Not sure though, whether we will use APH again.”
“Friendly staff, efficient phone service, had to wait a few minutes at drop-off and a little longer on pick-up but it was warm and dry so no real bother. Might have felt differently if it had been winter cold! Not sure how it can be improved since you can't make the phone call until the luggage hall and exit. Maybe just allow the customer a few moments to give their car the once over instead of immediately being asked to sign and then drive off. I've got a couple of other similar bookings coming up.”
