“Excellent talking clock bought for my 90 year old mother who has ocular degeneration and hearing issues. It is relatively simple to set up and extremely easy to use. You press a button on top of the click and a lid enough clear English male voice gives you the time or also date if pressed long enough. Volume can be changed by rotating a knurled dial. One small improvement needed is the battery compartment in which the batteries could move if the clock is suddenly moved or turned upside down. This was fixed by adding small strips if cardboard for a tighter fit.”

“Ordered the clock for my mum who has vascular dementia and gets muddled with time. She is enjoying the clock and can understand the clear voice. Other speaking clocks that are not especially designed do not speak clearly and quite often have an American accent which she can't understand. The dementia clock is a great help”
