My mum has severe dementia now, so isn't able to interact much, but I can see that she is enjoying using her new puppy twiddle muff. However, the item is very overpriced for what it is. Anyone with basic sewing skills would be as well making this themselves.

Hi Elaine. I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the price of the Twiddle Muffs, unfortunately this is outside of our control due to the cost price being high as they are imported from the USA. We have recently released a "Fiddle Muff", which is a similar but more budget friendly product. Thanks again for your order and do get in touch if you have any further queries.
Good well made product.

Nice range of products, things I would not have thought of. So difficult to find appropriate presents so it's so important to understand what other Altzheimer sufferers find attractive. Mum loves her new Twiddle Muff!

I bought the cream coloured fiddle cat. My mum has advanced mixed dementia and is a big 'fiddler' she also walks a lot - I bought this to see if it would offer some outlet for the use of her hands (she won't participate in activities or watch TV for very long) but also to get her to sit down for a while! When I received it I was slightly disappointed with the quality - it has relatively few 'bits' on it and is not a very substantial item. HOWEVER - as soon as my mum took hold of it she was fascinated by it and 3 days later she will still not put it down - she speaks to it, she has named it Sue and she is very reluctant to let anyone else hold it. This may of course be a novelty that wears off and I'm not sure it has reduced her wandering, but it is so lovely to see her interested in something and to laugh and smile as she has been. I will probably experiment by adding some other items to, it but as things stand i would highly recommend this product despite the fact that on face value it seems overpriced - the positive impact it has had on my mums day-to-day life is priceless. Thank you.

Best gift for my nan with Alzheimer's EVER!! She's always playing with things in her hands so thought this would be ideal and it hasn't let me down! Can't thank you enough x

Excellent product. Enough things to keep fidgety fingers busy but not so many as to stop this from being a soft and snuggly comforter.

The idea is very good but in my opinion is much overpriced. However, it is being used by my husband who is an Alzheimer sufferer and seems to have a calming effect.
