We're sorry to hear that our Perfect Pet wasn't suitable. All of the Perfect Petzzz do come with a rigid base so they can be used on a flat surface, for example, on the lap. The rigid base is also required as it contains the battery compartments. We do have a 30-day returns policy should any of our customers wish to return their pet for a refund.
