“This is a good quality product. I bought it for my friend who is 93 years of age and is now in a care home. “It's cute, the fur feels real the breathing very slight but comfy under your fingers. The purr isn't good, sounds like a metallic buzzing. For the price it's a comfort to someone with dementia with poor hearing, has a calming effect”

We're happy to hear that our customer liked the Calico Cat. The cat is designed to simulate the motion of breathing. There is a noise, but this is a soft mechanical sound when the chest rises and falls, which can sometimes be interpreted as breathing or purring.
