This would probably be suitable for some readers, but not for others. The pictures and text will bring back memories for those who grew up in the 50s. But the layout is rather cluttered with many pictures on each page, and the text is printed in a font designed to resemble handwriting, which some readers might find difficult.

Ordered this for my mother- in - law (96) who has Alzheimer’s. Unfortunately the font used in the book is too small, with too much detail for someone with Alzheimer’s. The size of the book is also too big for her to handle easily as she is quite frail. The pictures etc are bold and bright but far too many on each page. I really wanted this to be a success but she was not interested in it at all. Disappointed.

I have bought the 1950's ScrapBook as a Christmas present for my mother. She has recently moved into a care home and I thought this would be an ideal gift. I am really impressed with the size of the book and the layout is fantastic. I'm sure she will love it...I do!... and the pictures are going to bring back memories and provide talking points for her and her visitors. Brilliant price too..well worth the money.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my mother who has dementia. Unfortunately, when I opened it to see the contents I was aware that this would not be suitable as there were too many items on one page. She would not be able to concentrate on all the items shown. If you had shown a sample page on the website, I would not have incurred the £7.90 cost "just to see" the format. So, although I have rated it "acceptable" it was not suitable for my purpose.

We are sorry to hear that our customer was unhappy with the scrapbook and that there is not a sample page on the website. We have been unable to obtain any images of the inside of the book. However, if any of our customers need any additional information on our products, we are happy to help them before a purchase is made. We have provided a free prepaid returns label to our customer and have refunded their original order in full, including their original delivery charge.
I bought this 1950s Scrapbook for a relative whose memory is fading as I’m hoping the nostalgia for the period will stimulate conversations and revive her memory. It is chock full of images of household items, toys, clothes, cars etc and it is sure to keep her attention when little else does. Thank you for great service.

I've seen my Nan's mental health decline quite rapidly recently so I bought this to try to bring back some happy memories. The moment she opened the first page, her face lit up and she was over the moon with it. Definitely worth every penny
