“As my basin was fitted a little off true when a normal plug is left in and a tap left on it overflows... ... the 'sink overflow plug' allows the basin to fill enough to wash in but not to overflow. So far it's saved at least two overflows into the kitchen below. I don't need the green temperature colour changing feature which does work, however, over time it fades so if needed it should be checked periodically.”

“We bought the Magiplug for our elderly father who, at 95 and living on his own with dementia, loves his bath every morning. On several occasions carers noted that he was forgetting he had left taps running and bath was overfull. Magiplug has been a godsend. It is truely a great invention to stop the flooding of dad's bathroom and greater peace of mind for all. In fact, his carers are recommending it to others. Great product, speedy service and delivery. “This is an excellent product, gives you peace of mind that should your loved one accidentally leave a tap running with a plug in the basin/bath/sink, there will be no chance of any flooding. Bought one for each basin/bath/sink for my mother who has Alzheimer's and recently did just as described and the whole bathroom and hallway was flooded. Would recommend to anyone who has a family member/friend with dementia.”

“Great concept but unfortunately did not work for my parents bath. They have a mono tap and the force of the water kept dislodging the Magiplug. I tried to push it in hard but still kept coming out, I don't think my father with dementia would manage this. It may work better with 2 separate taps as would be either side of the plug?”

We're sorry to hear the Magiplug didn't work for our customer's bath. This isn't something we've come across before however as mono taps are much less common than dual taps it could be a common issue with mono tap baths.
