“I bought the plug for my elderly parents' kitchen sink. It works, but unfortunately it lets water out when the sink is used for washing up. Because of this shortcoming my parents refuse to use it. Is there a design improvement which could make it washing-up proof?”

We're happy to hear the magiplug works but sorry to hear our customer had problems whilst washing up. We've contacted our customer for more information which will be fed back to the manufacturer.

“This is an excellent product, gives you peace of mind that should your loved one accidentally leave a tap running with a plug in the basin/bath/sink, there will be no chance of any flooding. Bought one for each basin/bath/sink for my mother who has Alzheimer's and recently did just as described and the whole bathroom and hallway was flooded. Would recommend to anyone who has a family member/friend with dementia.”
