“Perfect for my wife who is now blind - she has had a talking watch before, but finding a jeweller to replace dead batteries has been very difficult. Now there is no need to worry about batteries. I have a solar powered watch myself, hence the reason I thought my wife should have one. Looks stylish and very nice leather strap and the whole thing was far cheaper than purchasing through the manufacturer.”

“Bought as a replacement for a Lifemax bought many years ago that worked great untill a few weeks ago. Problem is this replacement refuses to work, have tried all that booklet tells us to do, still will not work, so looks as if it will have to be returned”

We were sorry to hear that our customer's watch did not work on arrival. It's rare that these watches do have faults however as with all electrical equipment this is something that can unfortunately happen. We have provided a free prepaid returns label so our customer can return the watch to us free of charge and they have decided to have a full refund including the original delivery charge, which we processed for them immediately. “The talking watch was a present to an elderly friend, who - while not suffering from Alzheimers - does get a bit confused. I hope the plain dial and the ability to get the talking date and time will be helpful. The watch is well made and very plain to read; but only four stars because it is rather complicated to set up, even for a younger relative, and the requirement for regular exposure to light is unlikely to be observed by the recipient and will need constant monitoring by others.”
