“Unfortunately having to return. Tried several times connect Sky Q box with no success. Also googled alternative instructions but that didn't work either. Have to give 1 star because it doesn't work for me but may be for others trying to connect a different set top box. Did find out that some makes of Sky Q don't work with the Flipper product, but not able to determine which make I have.”

We reached out to this customer to offer support and sent troubleshooting information by email and have also given them advice over the phone. We are waiting to hear back from the customer to see if they have successfully set it up.

“Not good for dementia patients that fiddle with buttons. My mum is the finger of doom for all electronics-thats why I bought this, to stop her changing the source on the TV and ringing me at midnight to say the TV had died. Unfortunately the set up buttons are "hidden under a flap on the front of the unit. Nice and easy for mum to play with. So I have wrapped Celotape round it for now- see how long that keeps her out. Setting up is a right faff. Don't worry with the poorly written instructions for inputting codes relevant to your TV's make. Head straight for the instructions on the back for "setting up when the codes don't work". Then its a piece of cake. Hit the sequence described and it sends 15 codes at a time . repeat until one batch reacts with the TV. Then go one at a time through the 15 to find the one that works. Far easier. We had a lock up on second day of use. It refused to do anything, so I removed and reinstalled the batteries and its been ok since then. Basic operation is sound but not the best design.”
