Bought this simple music player for my 82 year old Mum who’s eyesight is failing and has memory issues. Tough durable casing. I was disappointed with the volume control function which is on the bottom of the unit and very difficult to access whilst using. Also, when electricity is turned off the music reverts back to the 1st song (my Mum turns the power off every night) I found it very expensive considering you have to down-load your own music from PC. Perhaps, If you were able to mail-order 500 or so songs to be pre-loaded before delivery It would be a better buy. Would not recommend.

We're sorry to hear that our customer is unhappy with their music player. The volume control being located on the bottom of the music player and not easily accessible is part of the design of this product to prevent the volume from being changed by the user. The issue with the power is unfortunately not one that can be prevented and occurs with all music players, although we do appreciate that it may be more noticeable with this particular player. Unfortunately we aren't able to provide any music except the simple sample music that's included due to licencing laws and various other legal issues. We've done a review of our product page to see if any of the feedback provided is missing from the page however we do believe it is all included. We do have a 30 day returns policy should any of our customers decide they no longer want their player and if the ability to change volume on the device and to play the music in a "random" order would be preferred then we'd recommend our Tempo 200 player instead, product code 1005600.

This is a great idea and is bringing my Dad a lot of pleasure. The only thing I would criticize is not being able to shuffle the songs and my Dad likes to unplug anything electrical which means that the music goes back to the beginning.

The sound quality is very good. The care staff love it as it's so simple to use: just lift the flap and away it goes, all day long. The only criticism is the volume adjustment controls. I understand why they are designed as they are, but maybe making small buttons instead of holes to insert a pen or similar would make that aspect easier for care staff.

This has proved to be a good buy for my step dad who had lost interest in his jazz in recent years. He has mild mixed dementia and music was recommended as a good therapy. He was dubious when I suggested it, but I did it anyway and bought a couple of CD compilations with 160 tracks he absolutely loves it. Easy to use - no problems at all. One improvement would be a large digital display showing artist and track name. Another improvement would be to run the music from a memory stick in the back so that people don’t have to remove the player from the premises in order to change the music on it.

I was told about this product by another carer. My mum loves music, however, she was tidying away her CDs and forgetting all about them. This is very visual and easy to use. I often here her music playing when I phone her or pop into see her. This has brought some joy back into her life. Fabulous product.

Good product but would have been better if it didn't Need main adapter to play a battery option would make it more flexible I find the adaption cord restricts where it can be used otherwise a good product but perhaps a little expensive
