“Bought as Xmas present, so not tried with my mum yet. But arrived very promptly & seems very intuitive to use. I think mum will remember the 'music box' idea, i.e. just opening & closing the lid. Could perhaps have had a bit more info about transferring MP3 files across. Tips such as numbering the file names, if you want a strict order to play, and avoiding using a playlist file - creating a folder seems much easier. But we managed after a few false starts.”

“My mum absolutely loves this and listens to music at several points during her day. I was unable to remove the tracks already on there despite several attempts so have had to leave them on. I'd recommend this product!”

We're sorry to hear that the our customer is unhappy with the lack of shuffle and the difficulty adjusting the volume. The volume change on this product has been made slightly difficult (although it only takes a minute if you know how) on purpose to prevent the volume being changed. If a music player with shuffle and easier volume control is more suitable then we would recommend our Tempo 200 music player with product code 1005600.

“This device was bought as an attempt to lure my relative away from the TV, (which was causing anxiety, because of his dementia) and back to music he loved, but could no longer manage to play on his hi-fi unit. This player was a total success, it is now the preferred form of entertainment, I have since ordered a second one for the bedroom. It was easy to set up, IF you had MP3 tracks available, the type used on phones and iPods. The sound quality is excellent. My only suggestion for improvement would be for it to play in permanent shuffle mode. It currently plays the music library in order and them repeats. Otherwise this device is worth every penny.”

“Love this music player ..... it’s the only thing that mum can use .... it’s her constant companion. She spilled water over the last one - hence this second one. I wish it had instructions about converting tracks to MP3 ... took me a while to figure it out.”
