“this item was not very easy to program would not always work and needed to press the button several times. i gave up on it in the end too much hassle for my mum with dementia.”

“We orded this handset for my Father who was struggling with two handsets for his tv and found them difficult to use. He can now see the buttons clearly and use the buttons easily. We feel the handset would be enhanced if you could view the tv guide. The only other difficulty we encounted, it took many attempts to programme the handset to the free sat box. But overall the handset is easy to use once programmed.”

“I got this for my mother who only has limited use of one hand. Since there are only a few buttons she can feel her way to the right one. She used to 'get lost' with her old standard remote because she pressed the wrong buttons. I noticed that someone said it was hard to set up/programme. Well, I didn't do it myself, but the person who did said he had no problems. I am so glad that I got this for my mother. She has so little independence left to her that every bit is precious.”

“Mothers day gift for my 92 year old, looks good just a few buttons, but can't" pair" (set it up). Next step is to go to a tv shop for help, extra cost, why oh why don't they produce things you can set up easily and I work in IT, so have reasonable experience. If shop can't do it will be returning it and hunting for a simple remote for a 92 year old. Can anyone help, seems very limited stock out there, what a business opportunity for somone! An elderly person would never be able to set it up on their own to work, such a dissapointment.”
