“I bought this for my mum who has dementia. She is baffled by the L/R arrow buttons and I average 4 calls per day because she has managed to get herself onto a radio channel. She also asks the staff at her sheltered housing to sort it for her on numerous occasions. I thought it was the answer, but I'm afraid it's not.”

“Generally pleased. Good to hold and easy buttons to use. Company dispatched quickly, despite Christmas period, and kindly refunded some of the delivery charge becuas of combining another order. But - the device was not straightforward to programme. It took a long time for the new device to respond and read the signals from our old remote. (We still can't get the 'off' button to receive a signal, so the 'on' button has to do both! Another drawback is that you never know which channel you're on. Sometimes my mother carries on pressing the 'channel up' button, gets to high numbers, and then can't get back to the first channels without having to keep pressing the 'channel down' button loads of times.”

“The HandleEasy TV remote control turned out okay. It even worked on my mum's ancient Philip's television. Just watch out for dodgy batteries as supplied with the device. Tom Murray the MD of Alzheimer's & Dementia Products struck me as someone who gives priority to customer service which is pretty unusual these days.”

“I ordered the "HandleEasy 321RC" - TV Remote (£24.99) for my Mother who suffers from Dementia. There are (only) 6 x large buttons on this remote (instead of over 30 x small buttons on a standard remote) and it has made such a difference to mums ability to control the TV. I ordered the Product on 21st Sept 2012 and it arrived first post the next day. Great product, fantastic service. Thank you so much”

“My mum has advanced dementia but still lives alone in her own home with lots of support. She has the TV on a great deal for company as well as entertainment. She was no longer able to manage the standard TV remote control and was waking neighbours at 6am or asking strangers to come in off the street to help her. This remote control is simple, inexpensive and actually works, and has helped us to keep her happy and safe. Cannot praise it highly enough.”
