“I found it hard to programme at first but managed it in the end. My husband does understand how to turn it on and off but does not understand the arrows mean backwards and forwards,. It would have been better if it had had numerical keyboard as he understands BBC 1 is 1 etc. So we have stopped using it, and reverted back to old remote which still causes great confusion. The principle is good but as my title says it all depends how ill the user is.”

“Bought this for my mother in law who simply cannot understand the multitude of remotes we all have and had restricted herself to one channel for fear of getting it wrong. It programmed really easily using the instructions provided (plus the additional notes supplied by ADP too) I set some buttons from one remote and some from another which caused it no difficulty. She has used it since and is now confident on the main channels...great product.”

“This simplicity of this control has put an end to the constant calls from my mother saying she has lost her TV programmes. As even us more able younger generation also get tired of navigating the numerous buttons, and the need for two separate controls, we all want one also! Although my mum has been diagnosed with late-onset Alzheimers, I was looking everywhere for a control like this and conicidentally found it on the Alzheimer's web site although it can be purchased elsewhere.”

“This is now programmed for the satellite box and TV channels. We couldn't get it to switch on the TV as well but Mum is coping with this. Learning how to change channels is proving difficult but Mum was having greater problems with standard remore control. Overall this has been a success although having numbers ie 1 for BBC1 etc woudl be even better.”
