“Bought this radio for my mum. She has Alzheimers but loves listening to the radio. She cannot cope with buttons or switches, nothing complicated. This radio is perfect as you can cover all but the on/off button. Good clear sound and not a bad looking radio. So far would recommend.”

“This radio is great for my mum who tends to fiddle with the switches on her old radio and often list her favourite station. This radio keeps it fixed on that station.it has a nice sound and looks smart.”

“I struggled to remove the front panel so that I could tune the radio for my mother. In the end I resorted to a knife to lever it off, which of course resulted in scratches. I would have preferred that the radio be much smaller, but this is purely personal as my mothers flat is very small and I was looking for work surface on which to stand it.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer had difficulty removing the cover from the radio. Sometimes they are stiff during manufacturing and the first removal may be difficult using only your hands. We'd recommend using a straight-edge to help initially, alternatively, please contact our customer service team before purchasing the radio who'll be happy to ensure that your radio cover is loose before dispatch to make set-up easier on your arrival.
