This is an excellent product just let down by the lack of battery back up. My mother in law has a habit of switching everything off at night so for the first couple of weeks we had to reset it regularly. Sticking tape over the switch has solved that problem and fortunately we haven't had any 2.00 am phone calls recently. I would recommend it.

Brilliant invention, helps my mother keep track of the day, saves ringing friends to ask if it's morning or night, especially during the winter months.

A simple and effective way to ensure dementia sufferers are aided in time of day recognition. Has been a great help to my dad who struggles to understand the concept of day or night - but now he can be sure (.....most of the time).

The Day Clock is generally helpful, but needs a way to program the time at which the message changes, i.e., Afternoon to Evening at 5:00 p.m. It also has no effect on block-headed old guys who simply won.

The clock with no problems considering it was going to USA. My brother hooked it up and we just know it will help Mom who is in nursing facility and is getting her days and nights confused. I would highly recommend this clock. He also liked that the sides light up in a blue light which Mom said to leave on.

After two false starts with clocks that had faulty electronics, we now have fully functioning clock. It is perfect: clear, has good illumination and font size. The straight forward messages of 'morning', 'afternoon' and 'evening' are hugely helpful. Very good service from the company as well.

fantastic idea-My mother finds it much easier to understand the time of the day now-just wish I'd got one with the date and time on too.

Bought for my Dad who loves it. Initially he kept forgetting it has to be switched on ALL the time and kept pulling the plug out at night. Bit of a nuisance, as it has to be re-set from scratch each time. A little tape over the switch and plug remedied that problem. Now it is working 24 hrs non-stop, it helps to remind him of the time of day OR night, which is helpful as he sleeps fitfully and when he is up at night it helps him get reorientated. The bright light is easy to see and read.
