Whilst I do not have first hand observation of the purchased item being used, the care home staff where my father is a resident say that 'he does now have more understanding as to the different times of the day'.

Bought digital day clock for my mother who has vascular dementia and is having difficulty knowing whether it is day or night. This is a very good product only displaying the day and time of day eg Saturday morning, afternoon, evening, night. It doesn't display the actual time which is a bonus. Much easier for my mum to read and understand. She also has a perpetual clock for seeing time and date. Very good product.

Mum just has to glance st the clock to understand what time of day it is, avoiding distress and confusion.

My 99 year old parent has short term memory loss and was falling asleep and getting confused as to time/date when he woke up. Placing this product next to the regular clock has helped him to orient himself on awakening and has stopped the middle-of-the-night calls to me! A good product although rather expensive.

The digital "time of day" clock has been a huge success with my 85 year old Mum who gets very confused about what time of day it is when she's dropped off to sleep in daytime. She has placed the clock in direct line of sight and she now knows immediately when she wakes from a nap whether it is afternoon/evening (most usual) or morning the next day (unusual she would sleep this long but she sometimes panics that she has). She says it has changed her life. Thank you.

I can't believe how amazing an idea it is for dementia people - as my mother has.....well worth the money!!!

Just purchased this clock for my 86 year old Mum who was starting to get confused with her days. Delighted with it, the clock face is very clear and easy to read (a big help for any visual challenges) and is already helping my mother with diary management, cross checking what is on tv and keeping to appointments. Very easy to set up, would definitely recommend.

Unlike other products, this parcel was easy to open. No overuse of sellotape, in fact none at all. Handy for arthritic fingers. Extra praise for packaging. The item itself is fantastic. I do not have dementia, am just a bit forgetful and now I'll know what the day is. It has received lots of positive comments from visitors. I have carers and they changed the days they came so I was forever confused as to what day it was. I thought there might be something out there to help so went on line and saw this item. As if it was made for me! As I never know the date either and my eyesight is not good I have sent for an electric calendar. Like most of us, I wish they were a little cheaper, but one has to pay for quality. And these items are just that. Thank you
