The radio is very easy to set up. The instructions are nice and clear, and the radio is nice and sturdy with the bright yellow button easily visible, and easy to use.

simple to operate and with the cover over the radio controls it means that you can just put your hand on top of the radio and feel for the button without upsetting the other control buttons and knobs.

I bought the Radio for my elderly Mother who is finding controls fiddly. She is yet to use it but I have tried it out. Sound is OK and does what it says on the side of the tin. Plastic cover and two screws a bit steep as the radio only costs £70 in several shops The cost was £113 incl VAT. Came with a moulded UK plug/transformer, which is a pity as to be used outside the UK but not an issue for most readers of this review. Support before I bought the product good and delivery was fast.

As the full time carer for an elderly lady I have to tell you that this is a genius idea but would love it if you could design one with a digital clock on the front.

Fingers-crossed that at last I've found a radio I can fix to the only station my husband really wants to listen to. My husband likes listening to our local station (Radio Solent) but his carers would come in and retune it to pop music settings whilst they were working. They would then leave it on that station when they left his room, leaving him to listen to stations such as Radio 1 which he hates. Unable to change it back to Solent, he would get very upset because of this but, owing to his condition, was unable to ask the carers not to change the settings. By unscrewing the back and taking the lid off you can set the radio up to the station of your choice; you then replace the top and screw it in place. The user can then only switch it on or off by pressing a simple push button. This then makes it difficult for anyone to change station (either my husband accidentally changing things or carers). My husband then can switch it on and off and it will stay tuned to his favourite station.

I've been looking for a one button radio for my dad (who is also registered blind) for years. He loves this. It's perfect. Thank you.

Hideously overpriced ! A simple, but effective product which is attached to a standard Roberts "Elise" radio. Stops inadvertent pressing of controls other that the on/off switch. The gadget is a piece of plastic which fits over the radio. No wire, no electric. Just 2 screws to hold it in place. The radio, without the plastic cover costs £43 on the internet, but with the cover over £114. Thats £71 for the plastic cover !!!! I fees like my ageing father's illness has been taken advantage of.

We're sorry to hear that this customer is unhappy with the price of the radio. We do understand his concerns regarding the pricing but unfortunately it's outside of our control for this item, as they are expensive for us to purchase from the supplier. Our profit margin for this radio is 11%, excluding the free packaging and fully tracked postage that we offer. Once this is taken into account our "profit" on this item is approximately £5. The radio is manufactured by a brilliant charity called Designability, we would recommend contacting them directly for any concerns regarding pricing. Thank you for your understanding, the AlzProducts Team
