This dog is adorable, my mother aged 91 loves it. The only thing I would say is that sometimes, it can take a bit of 'waking up' so, the stroke to the head or down the back has to be fairly firm to get it to start up from 'stand by' mode but once awake, it brings a lot of joy.

Thank you, AlzProducts for your speedy delivery of the interactive dog which I bought for my mum who has Alzheimer's. She has been very attached to one provided by her care home up to now but for her birthday I've bought her one of her own. The interaction with the dog has surprised me enormously and when I am with her as a lone visitor it provides a talking point for her and myself when sometimes there is, sadly, frustration between us. I have added a collar and name tag so that she knows it's hers and we've named it after one of her own dogs from years ago. The dog is a lovely little character with charming actions and although she can't hear him bark due to hearing problems she laughs when he pants and likes the 'heartbeat'. I'm so pleased that she is happy with him.

My mother is in a nursing home suffering from Dementia. She is thrilled with the pup and has called him Ben. He is on her bed at night!
