“DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - if you want to keep your relative safe. Battery drains in under 30 hours if in auto-mode and a little under 48 hours if in manual mode - certainly never lasted the 72 hours described. Location regularly locks for several days. My mother has worn it for just over a year and it’s been a very bumpy ride. CPR are very good at suggested improvements but their support is very poor. We stopped paying the £9.99 per month SIM fee 2 months ago because of this and because it continued to show my mother in exactly the same place for 3 days and would not update. Last week we thought we would give it another but yet again it has frozen in the same place in a service station 70 miles from Mums home for last 2 days. I called CPR up yesterday morning at 9am and was told that they guy dealing with it would call me back after he gets in at 11am. He never called back and I got a “Cancelled Ticket” email later in the day. Spoke to manager today and she was unable to explain why I didn’t get call back. Still no resolution. Unreliable product with Unreliable support - Alzproducts would do themselves a favour by NOT selling this product further and product that fails miserably under the Sale of Goods & Services Act”

We're very sorry to hear our customer is having such a bad experience with their watch. We are currently in correspondence with our customer to try to resolve these ongoing problems for them and see what we can do. Unfortunately when it comes to technical support this product is one of the few that we sell where we can only offer basic help and the majority of support must be given by the manufacturer. “Good price. Prompt delivery. I had considerable difficulty loading onto my phone. Eventually phoned Guardian watch agent who was most helpful and said the watch needed updating and exchanged it for a new one. All working well now.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer's watch battery is only lasting 24 hours. The watch battery should last 48 hours and we advise that our customers get in touch if this isn't the case so we can investigate further. It's rare that we do have battery problems but there are circumstances where this can happen, for example, if the watch is struggling to receive signal on a regular basis this will decrease the battery more quickly. “Unfortunately this product did not perform as expected. The Instructions from the manufacturer were incomplete, although they did recognise the problem and send more information promptly. This however did not prove to be the answer - the device was inaccurate in placing position and did not give notification of exiting set geo-zone until 22 hours after event - if at all. but it did at 2am when the device had not moved. Luckily £3 credit was put on the device upon purchase so we were able to test the watch thoroughly before entering a contract. I would not recommend this for tracking people with dementia and it caused additional stress. We have returned the device. I will say though that support services did respond promptly.”

We're sorry to hear that the GPS watch caused all of these issues for our customer. We will ensure that we provide a full refund as soon as we receive the watch at our office. Unfortunately, we haven't got a record of any correspondence from this customer regarding the issues they experienced, this isn't unusual for a GPS product as it's likely they contacted the manufacturer directly. As we haven't spoken to our customer we're unable at this time to say whether this is a faulty watch or a local GPS issue, as there are a small number of customers who aren't able to use GPS products due to poor local signal. Either way, we're happy to provide a full refund on receipt of the watch and we're sorry that it didn't work on this occasion.

“This product bought for my wife in order to help prevent a possible problem due to health issue. We are very impressed with the product and importantly my wife finds it easy to use. The functions of the watch all work very well. It provides peace of mind. Do take a look at the available guidance re setting up the app and using the watch. It really is worthwhile looking at it before you play! Very satisfied and good to know there is support there if you need it for the product.”

“Swift dispatch. App easy to download. Watch already set up with sim card and easy for you to set for own preferences, for example 12, 24 hour or analogue clock. Most beneficial is that it is user friendly for the wearer. Peace of mind that the battery lasts at least 48 hours before next charge. Thanks AlzProducts.”
