My mum loves cats but at 101 can’t really have a real new one! So we bought the mechanical cat and it is a big big hit!Would recommend.

It is lovely, but the mechanical noise when it moves could be quieter. My dad loves it though and that's the main thing.

This fabulous companion for my aunt who has dementia and misses her pets she really believes he is, real. Also checked out on Amazon, there was a 7 month wait and not exempt from VAT

I ordered a tabby companion cat for my 12 year old autistic grandson. He is such a cat lover, but unable to have one as a pet, so when I saw this I thought but might be the answer. He was absolutely thrilled to bits with his new companion! It sits on the sofa with him whilst He's reading, gaming or watching TV, and he can just keep stroking the cat and hear it purr and meow. The purring is very calming for him if he feels overwhelmed with life. Absolutely one of my best buys, arrived quickly and very securely packed. Can highly recommend.

Fur is nice and soft, but cat is a bit stiff. Lovely meowing and purring, strongly appreciated. Would be great with remote control and possibility to set some functions - just purring for ex. Anyway it's lovely replacement if you cannot keep the real cat (my landlord disagrees that's why I bought a fake one, I miss cats' company sooooo much)

I bought this for my 92 year old dad who has dementia. He still lives at home with daily help from me, and has a love of cats. I was a bit worried that he would think it was a bit silly, but he has been delighted by it. The only problem is that I have to keep reminding him that its not real (during the first few days, he put some milk down for it, and filled up a litter tray). He has named it after my sister's cat who he used to look after when she was away. The body of the cat is quite hard due to the inner workings but he does not seem at all bothered by that. I wish I'd bought one a few years ago!

Bought this for my mum who has dementia and lives in a care home. I was worried it would not be realistic but it is and a joy to her and the small community of residents. She truly believes it's real and sometimes, so do I. Great invention, thinking about buying the silver one for all the residents to get joy from.

Chose the ginger tabby cat for a friend of mine who has Dementia. I have not unpacked "puss" but just looked at it in the box, it looks very realistic Hoping it will be well received as a birthday gift when I give it to him next week. Cannot wait to see his face, especially when the batteries are installed and it starts to move and acts like a real cat. Very pleased with purchase.
