“The phone had all the features that were required for our parents who have dementia and hearing aids and had struggled with adjusting the volume control on their old phone without muting the call or hanging up accidentally. Initially, the loud volume of the Geemarc phone seemed a significant improvement, as were the handsfree option and preset picture buttons but unfortunately, they found the handsfree option very confusing. Frequently, they did not hang up correctly and so could not be contacted. Regrettably, after several weeks of trying to use the handsfree option, our parents asked to go back to their old phone and we had to return the new phone to AlzProducts. The company have been super efficient and helpful and accepted the return within the Returns Policy period. We would unreservedly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation wanting to improve the phone options for their relatives.”

“Complicated to set up and poor instructions. Handset doesn't always connect back to base. Photo key numbers cannot be checked. Photo key buttons difficult to press. Not suitable for purpose.”

We're sorry to hear that our customer is unhappy with the phone they purchased from us. Our customer service team do offer technical support should there be any problems completing set-up of our telephones. We do also have a hassle-free 30 day returns period where our customers can return any products for a refund if they are not happy with their purchase. We've forwarded a copy of this response to our customer and will reach out to see how he would like us to proceed to get this resolved.

“Setting up the phone was trickier than I had hoped. We still haven't managed to get the memory numbers passed to the additional handset. Will need to call the Geemarc helpline to get this resolved.”

“Initially I found it difficult to set up and programme the photo buttons with the instructions provided. Saying that, they are a big improvement on the phones my 82 year old mum had previously. I’m still trying to master viewing the recent caller list.”

“Bought this for my 88yr old Dad who has lewy body dementia. His old phones were giving up the ghost but he doesn't like change. He can't stop talking about how good this phone is. Easy to install.”

“I have this base unit with additional handset but cannot get the Photo memories buttons to work - have logged a support to the online support and await guidance as to whether the phone is faulty or the instructions are wrong/not clear. They seem simple enough but the end result is not right. I guess the next review may be based on what happens next from the support desk. I only purchased the phones specifically for the photo buttons for mum who can't remember numbers or how to find them now.”
