“This is an excellent clock for people with dementia and tells them everything they want to know. However, it is very expensive if you have to pay full price which I had to do as getting my relative to doctor's appointment for diagnosis is extremely difficult. (Often she refuses point blank to go to appointments and as the doctors wanted various scans, blood tests and a memory test which have now been done and are all ok with the exception of the memory test which the result is in January, it is now over 1 year and diagnosis). I found this item can be bought cheaper elsewhere later.”

We're glad that our customer is generally happy with their clock. With regards to the price, we do aim to offer a large range of clocks with different prices for all customers. Our Type E price is very competitive and AlzProducts are the only other official DayClox Type E supplier in the UK, excluding the manufacturer. There are some cheaper alternatives directly from China that are not the DayClox, however the quality and reliability of these clocks cannot be guaranteed.

“Received on time and well packaged. The only negative is that the box and the instructions both referred to a different model of clock from the one ordered (which was correctly identified on the dispatch note). It was the right clock but it made for a slightly anxious time when I first received it.”

We are pleased that this customer has been satisfied with their product. However we apologise for any confusion caused with the unclear packaging and instructions. We're currently waiting on the manufacturer to update the retail box and instructions for the Type E. Despite this however the instructions that are included are correct and have no errors in, although they are the instructions for the Type A model the programming is the same.

“Excellent product. I bought this for my 92 year mother (still independent!) who is starting to struggle with times and dates. This is especially so if she falls asleep in her chair and wakes up unsure of the time of day. The display is perfect: e.g. "Thursday morning. 10:30am. 25 July 2018" all displayed in large, clear writing. The only negatives are that it is mains powered, not battery, so that restricts where it can be placed in a room. Also, I understand it does not auto-correct for the clocks going forward and back. Nevertheless, it is an very good product and she likes it very much.”

“Clock received in perfect working order, all set up and ready to go. I purchased this for my Mother who is in the early stages of vascular dementia . It has made her daily life much less stressful as it reminds her of the day,date,time and month. Would highly recommend it. It is very clear without being too obtrusive.
