“Arrived quickly and very easy to set up. The only problem encountered is that I thought it would be restricted to just 10 channels, however if a number button is double pressed (on our Samsung TV the channel does not change instantaneously), one can get channels 11, 22 etc, which might be confusing for the intended user.”

We're sorry to hear our customer is unhappy with the instructions for this product. Unfortunately we do not have control over the manufacturer instructions as we are only the retailer. However, we do include product instructions available to download from many of our product pages (including this one) - in the specification table on the product page, in case customers have any concerns before purchasing. We do also offer technical support via telephone and email.

“IMPORTANT: the instructions need to be updated, as the remote can’t be programmed if the tv is plugged in. Once we’d figured that out everything was very easy to set up. The remote is simple to use, with nice big buttons. Unfortunately, my MiL holds the buttons down, which causes the tv we bought to bring up messages on the screen, which she finds confusing. We’re keeping the remote, as it’s great, but looks like we’re back to the drawing board for another tv!”

We're sorry for any misunderstanding regarding the programming of this remote control. All of our simple TV remote controls can be programmed with the TV on or off, however, if the TV is on it may react to the buttons being used during the programming procedure and this may distract from the programming process. If this is the case you can turn the TV off and program the remote control, and then turn the TV back on to test. Kind regards, the AlzProducts team

“Very easy to setup and followed advise of previous reviewer and programmed the 1+2 setting for the same TV, this will avoid the help it’s not working phone calls. You can also miss out keys like the AV if not required.”

“It has proved very useful, replacing a supplied TV remote whose tiny keys are too close together, difficult to read and illogically laid out. The lettering on the Easy TV 10 is easy to read and the buttons need a firm push, which is good for anyone whose fingers tremble. And it's easy to programme despite the instructions!”

“Slightly trickier to programme than expected as the instructions were translated to English. However works a dream and much simpler than a normal remote for people with memory issues. I got it for my mother who was having no end of problems with the old tv remote by pushing the wrong buttons. Here you just programme what you need from the old remote. Top tip you have to point the remotes at each other when programming! Also if you dont want to operate two devices ( tv and video) just programme both options to the tv so they cant accidentally switch it to option 2 and wonder why it doesn't work!”
