“Recent purchase of these for a long distance event on mixed terrain. 1st time on was indoors on an inclined walk at 6.5kmph for 30min. The heat build up was insane for such a short period/distance. Knowing I'll have these on for upto 24hr! I was measured as a size 10-10.5 and given a uk 10.5. They were snug however ever going up a size would not decrease the heat build up. They say they have an updated upper mesh to give max breathability. I would hate to think what the previous were like. Also rubbed the top of the middle toes were there is no mesh. I did the same walk in some 5yr old Saucony Guide iso, huge difference. It is a shame because the Hooka are comfy to wear and I assume the grip would also of been great on the trail. I will be returning them unfortunately.”
