“These water shoes stay on well, and protect your feet from most little pokey things on the ground. However, if the terrain is particularly rough, I would recommend something more substantial. The sole of these shoes is thin and flexible, but also grippy, I did not slip when walking over an algae covered ledge of the Comal River. I do not reccomend extensive walking/hiking while dry, they rubbed on my heel the while time and have me a blister. I could easily see these used as a barefoot tennis shoe option as they are thin, flexible, and have zero drop between heel and toe, but definitely wear socks if you do that. I did use shoe glue to glue the inner sole to the shoe as it slid out when pulling wet feet out. I originally bought these for my husband as kayak water shoes and he said they were perfect for that, just need to glue the sole in.”
“Good secure swimming shoes. Also good for just walking around in. Perfect for parks, dirt trails, grass pathways, concrete/paved pathways. Decent for small gravel pathways, but would not recommend for large gravel unless it’s shorter distances. Comfortable fit, and looks great.”
“Bought these for a backpacking trip to wear around camp. They work great! Lightweight, compact and comfortable. They also work well for stream crossings and going in the lake with. The tread works well and I love that my toes are covered and protected. Only thing was that I wore socks with these to try to keep my feet clean but I walked on slightly wet ground for a second and my socks got drenched from the holes on the bottom of the shoes. But at least the shoes dried fast. So far my favorite camp shoes. Bought a second pair already!”
