“Due to my allergies and our desire for a clean home we have shoes we only wear outside and those we only wear in the house. My wife was in need of new indoor shoes, but ideally they would also be good for her workouts (yoga, cardio, dance, etc). When we opened the container in which these HIITAVE Barefoot Shoes for Women Minimalist Running Shoes arrived our first reaction was, these are water shoes! They looked and felt like those heavy on the bottom, light on top, super thin shoes. We were kind of disappointed. They are billed for running, but also minimalist. So we decided to not judged them until she tried them on and used them... good thing we did... she loves them!1. The colors are great. She really loves then and they are nice. The gray and pink are not too over the top, but a pleasant color(s) and will go with any number of outfits - if she even cares about that at any given time.2. They are thin on top and thicker on bottom, but overall these are extremely light shoes! She loves how they feel, that they are almost like wearing socks rather than shoes, and that they make it easy for walking around and yes, for working out.3. But wait, do they set apart the toes? NO! The outside shape indicates they are done in a way the toes are serrated, but they are not. This bring me to...4. Size. These two points go together. The size offerings did not include my wife’s in between, half size, so she decided to go one size down - to the rounded down size. We did read the reviews and while someone suggested going up, she was concerned they’d flop around on her. So we went to the down size and it worked. YES, he toes are up against the front of the shoe, BUT she is very clear in saying that she does NOT feel this is too tight nor small nor that it causes discomfort. She is NOT sure a larger, half size would work for her. She likes that these feel almost like socks - or skin on her foot - in that they fit perfectly, and that she can still splay out the toes so they spread as if she were wearing nothing. This is something she says is important in yoga or dance and works well with this exacting size.5. They secure easily. She loves the ties and that they area easy to close and stay closed. Important for working out.6. She is not going to wear these outside, but does believe they are potentially good for wearing to walk. We are not runners. But the light weight, hugging of the foot means they are great for feeling the contact with the ground.She has been wearing these non-stop since they arrived yesterday including around the house and working out. So far, they are excellent. If these last, they are going to be a great find! We will return to update if this changes, but as of right now, these HIITAVE Barefoot Shoes for Women Minimalist Running Shoes have been a great find!”
