“I use this when swimming with my grandchildren. I have neuropathy in my feet, so have balance problems. The cushion in the sole helps communicate balance to the parts of my feet that still have some feeling, so it's ideal for me. It's ok slip-wise on most surfaces, especially the normal bottoms for pools. However, it is very slippery on glazed tile (the tile in the pool). I would think very few soles would be non-slip on glazed tile underwater. It's ok on smooth surfaces. The shoes are very comfortable. I would be careful about washing them--I just rinse them in the shower. If you do want to wash them, wash 'em with other clothing so that they don't get banged around.”
“I wear a size 12 and purchased 2 pairs of these Hitave water shoes about a year ago... Both pair fit me great, were well made and I didnt have any issues at all, The fit was great and they were very comfortable for me.Just recently I purchased another pair of these shoes in the exact same size (12) as before but noticed my toes were hitting the top end of the shoe. They had actually sent me a (Euro size) 45 which If converted to US standards it was actually a size 11.5 I returned these shoes and ordered a replacement pair in the next size up (size 13) and they fit me great just like the previous 2 pairs I purchased. This is why I am saying you might need to go up to the next size from what you actually wear.”
“These are comfortable and well made. But... For me one of the most important part of wearing water shoes is that you can get them dirty or sandy and just rinse them out. Because of the folds in the fabric inside and around the ankle, these have an amazing ability to trap sand and dirt. If ever present bits of sand or gravel are no big deal for you these will be fine. If not, you will need a hose and quite a bit of effort to get them cleaned out. A typical beach shower will not work.”
“I have neuropathy and was apprehensive about buying water shoes again because my last pair squeezed the hell out of my feet, but these are so comfortable! And they're easy to put on. They're so light I barely noticed I was wearing them. My feet are wide and these shoes fit no problem. If you have problematic feet like I do, I highly recommend these shoes. Even if you don't have foot issues, I recommend these shoes.”
“Don't order this thing expecting a shoe. It's not. It's a sock with thicker soles. You aren't going to get foot support. It's not going to be the highest construction quality. It's designed to protect the bottom of your feet while wading in water.I use it for wearing around the gym floor. Almost like being barefoot, without the ick, and not as slippery as a sock on the lifting platform. Works fine for that. These do what they are supposed to do. Easy to get on and off. Good traction. Generally comfortable.”
