“If you're like me when it comes to foot wear, most shoes are uncomfortable. I've spent the past few years wearing the same flip flops (well made, 5 yrs of hard use) 90% of the year, and they are on their last leg. I knew there was only one place to go to find what I really want. The hiitave barefoot shoe serves all my "I don't want to wear shoes" I have. Lightweight, comfortable, breathability, aquatic, and, best of all, I don't feel like I'm wear shoes. My feet are able to spread naturally on foot placement, which leads to less foot pain if you have them. Most people don't know, or want to know, that people all over the world practice a form of foot binding (look it up) by wearing shoes that aren't made to fit the natural form of your feet.Give your feet a break from the constraints of your daily shoe. You'll thank yourself.UPDATE...7/27/2020I have had these shoes for almost 6 months and have one complaint (I wear them daily and put them through hell. From fishing, hiking, yard work and more). The adhesive used to hold the sole on is not good. Easy to fix with some gorilla glue so it isn't that big of an issue. Hiitave should invest in higher quality adhesives. A slight increase in cost wouldn't keep me from purchasing again if the quality is better.”
“Recently purchased these shoes for our trip to Tahiti. Very happy with the fit and comfort. For every excursion and hike, these were what I wore. Felt like I was only wearing socks. With the treaded soles, my feet were protected from what ever was on the ground. I also wore them when swimming in the reef with any fear of getting cut from coral. Awesome shoes! Can’t recommend these enough.”
“I got these for a house boat trip I took, a week on the water. We tied off everyday at a new beach with different rough terrain these shoes held up. Only issue I had was the insole cover started to separate. Will be wearing them for more than just the water.”
“Took these on a trip which included traversing rough terrain and being fully submersed in water for extended periods of time. They came out great and survived the washing machine afterward (though I wouldn't put them in the dryer, let them air dry).I gave 4 stars because the grip on the bottom could use improvement. Slipped on wet rocks resulting in a fall. Can't fully blame the shoes here since they're not really made for that but you don't get a lot of traction with these, just be careful.I'll still take these on another hike and it's a good purchase for the money.”
“Really, go look. Sixth picture down, three men, one wakeboarding, one sailing, and one sitting on a tree on the beach. None of them are wearing these shoes. Farther down the page, guy on a surfboard, no shoes. Maybe getting some photos of people actually using these for their intended purpose might be a good way to advertise. On to the boring stuff. I bought these from the amazon warehouse, I would never pay full advertised price for these. They're still making more than enough selling it at a "loss."They fit like a size 14 should. The adjustable elastic laces work fine. The top of the tongue and the lining around the ankle are a softer material and didn't irritate or scratch my feet while I was using these. The insole comes out easily when you need to get grit and gravel our of your shoe. The soles are okay. I'm over 6' and 230lbs. They're thick enough in the places where it really hurts to get stabbed in the foot by a sharp rock, but don't think they're going to stop every pointy rock or piece of glass you want to walk over. These are pretty good for me. I paddleboard, swim in local lakes and rivers, walk around these types of places. I'm lucky enough to live where people are mostly considerate of others and clean up their garbage.Again, I wouldn't buy these at full price, but I would recommend them to someone that water shoes if they could find them on the warehouse site at a discount.”
