The shoe utilizes elastic in the heel,I make sure it won’t stretch too loosely, or it won’t keep your foot in position on steep uphills. elastic pull tab , will provide support while on irregular terrain. “I bought these for my husband for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. These are going to be perfect for our various snorkeling adventures! They fit perfectly (we ordered a 9.5-10 and he typically wears a 10). The soles also slide out to allow to remove sand that becomes wedges between the bottom of the shoe and the sole. Also, they look super cool so that's always a bonus! Great materials and lightweight as well.”
