“These are true to size, comfortable and have adjustable laces as well. Great traction on the bottom of the sole for a rocky beach, slippery pool area, or boating on the lake. I wish I'd had these on a recent canoeing trip where we had to walk across a rocky beach to get to the landing area. We were in bare feet, and the rocks were killing us! We never go barefoot. So looking forward to testing these out this summer.”
“I like how they are the color of a clear blue sea. There are pull tabs to make them tighter and get them off easily. They slip on with a small pull tab in the back and fit very snugly. They are comfortable to walk on the ground in and are lightweight. The pattern of the mesh is intricate, and the whole look of the shoe is nice.Since these have big holes in the bottom, you have to make sure you aren't walking on sticks and sharp objects jutting up. They are designed to let the water pass right through while somewhat protecting your foot with a thick sole. The sole is an inch thick. Each shoe only weighs about 4.5 ounces, but they feel sturdy. The soles are rigid to the point that you almost can't bend them but only slightly. They are patterned all over with a deep groove near the ball of the foot I guess to keep you from slipping on watery floors.”
“I love these shoes. I ordered them in the light gray color and even though they say they are water shoes, I put them on yesterday and did not take them off because they were so light. I used them to walk a mile and then to run errands. I think I can toss them in the wash when I need them, which will probably be often as they are so light in color. They have an easy tie and slip-on feature, though the slip-on is a bit soft. Still, they are comfy shoes!”
“These look like regular sneakers, it's really convincing in real life, even up close, until you fill them over and see that the bottom is lined with a meet and grid for drainage, including small stuff like sand. In that way they're a little less protective than traditional water shoes because a small sharp object is more likely to penetrate through the bottom, but if you're wearing them more to protect against slimy or rough textures rather than broken glass or nails or razor sharp shells, these will do great. And you don't need to change shoes when you leave the beach to go to a store, restaurant, or anywhere else that is a "no shoes no service" establishment! Just don't plan to go hiking or everyday use.True to size and no complaints. Much more comfy than basic water shoes.”
