“Summer's coming, so I got my wife a pair of water shoes for secure footing around wet aquascapes and from hot pavement. The ALEADER women's water shoes are styled to look more like athletic footwear, and can be worn around town as comfortably as in water environments. Every part of the shoes allows free passage of water. The uppers are mesh covered. The substantial sole is thicker/taller than other water shoes which offers great support, and a grid of holes allows water to pass through as does the mesh inner insole. The elastic no-tie laces are quick to adjust for a tighter fit or to loosen.”
“My SO and I do a lot of kayaking, so I can always use a good pair of water shoes. I ordered these because they looked cute and I love the fun blue color. I wore them and then decided to use them for "out and about" shoes instead of water shoes. Why? Because they are too cute for water shoes and cute enough for regular shoes. (Don't get me wrong, these are no doubt excellent water shoes; I upgraded their usage.) Here is how these shoes did on my rubric for shoes:1. Cuteness level: love the color!2. Don't look cheap: Not super expensive looking, but the color is fabulous!3. Fit as expected: Yes. The size 9 fit my size 9 feet well.4. Easy to put on: Yes. Love cute slip on shoes!!5. Immediately comfortable: Yes.6. Long-term comfortable: Yes. I have worn them for a few hours at a time, and they are fine.7. Versatility: Very versatile, esp. since I'm not even using them for water shoes (currently wearing a t-shirt dress with them.)8. Easy to walk in: Yes.9. Noise level: They are a little bit squelchy/noisy when I walk, mainly because they are made from waterproof materials. But I can't really fault them for that, because they are intended to be water shoes.10. Smell: None. (Some shoes smell. These don't.)I seriously love these fun colorful shoes!!”

“I love kayaking and also have a creek in my back yard. I can’t tell you how many flip flops/slip on shoes I’ve lost in rushing waters over the years. These shoes look like sneakers, go on like sneakers and stay on like sneakers. The water runs right through while still giving your feet and arches some support. I like that I can also wear them into an establishment while on a kayaking trip.They do run big. I have a pair I ordered in my size (10) a couple years back. Those were way too loose and I couldn’t wear them. Remembering that, I ordered a 9 this time, and they’re perfect.”
